Dr. Morris Brown Ohio: Dr. Morris Brown, Ohio, rose from a humble background to become a distinguished physician and community advocate. After earning his medical degree from Meharry Medical School, he served in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps, which paved the way for his later work addressing healthcare disparities. Dr. Brown spent decades providing essential care to underserved communities in Dayton, Ohio, where he managed a practice that grew to over 10,000 patients. Upon retiring in 2018, he founded a nonprofit focused on criminal justice reform and alternatives to incarceration for nonviolent offenders. Dr. Brown has received numerous honors, including the Commander's Award for Healthcare and several community service awards. He continues to impact public health and policy, championing the need for equitable healthcare access and criminal justice.
